Departments & Innovative Programs

CBA programs are both innovative and responsive to industry demands. One such example is recent reshaping of our hospitality program to meet the management needs of a rapidly growing tourism industry. The college also developed an innovative entrepreneurship major based upon business leader recommendations. The college's commitment to innovative programming also is evident by the recent integration of SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing) software into several of its programs. SAP Is the leading Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software firm in the world for linking a company's critical business processes such as accounting, finance, human resource management, logistics, materials management and purchasing into one system. CMU's College of Business Administration was the second university in the United States to introduce SAP into business courses. As a graduate with SAP training, you will have a more technical, integrated knowledge of business operations.
