Students listen as Judy Love mentors

A major aspect of the newly revised BSBA degree (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration) is an opportunity to complete a professional experience.  A professional experience could be an internship, a professional mentorship in which you work under the supervision of a business professional, a consulting project in which you will work directly with a small business, participating in making real business decisions, or a semester spent studying abroad.  CMU's College of Business Administration maintains relationships with many major Michigan corporations, and throughout the school year a large number of business representatives visit the campus recruiting, speaking, and making contacts with business students.  In addition to the opportunities for professional experience, there are multiple student organizations and business fraternities in which students gain connections with possible future employers and share the knowledge necessary for students to succeed after graduation.

The result of these interactions is that as graduates, most have already established relationships with recruiters at the companies they have taken an interest in working for.  At the Central Michigan University's College of Business Administration, we have over 90% of students finding employment in the fields they choose within the first few months of graduation, as professionals.  At the CMU College of Business Administration, the benefit that sets you above the rest is that you will be a business professional with real world experience before most students even graduate.
